Kostas was born in Athens and studied jewelry design, construction and metallurgy. Even as a young child, he loved making jewelry and experimented with various materials; now he is drawn to the glitter and shine properties of metals and the raw necessity of high heat and flame in creating his designs. His collections showcase a fine attention to detail and high quality of design, the individual pieces reflect the humor in life. Kostas admires the properties of metal. His inspiration comes from movement, from life, from things that amuse him.
